I'm sure the East Asian market will go for them at the moment.

When I were a lad they would have sold quite well believe it or not.
Many people followed City one week, then United the next in those days. Weird? Yes I know ...

you can guarantee that they would have sold out as the rags head south. They can hang them on their walls and support whoever wins

Nah.

The "Turncoat Scarf" - excellent. Maybe someone could do a reversible blue/red shirt for them?!

Its a conversion process....Rag scarves last year...both this year....blue next year.
It's what frightens 'em most...losing the market...losing the merchandising...the sheer panic as they realise they're losing it to US.
I KNOW THAT YOU BELIEVE THAT YOU UNDERSTOOD WHAT YOU THINK I WROTE, BUT I AM NOT SURE YOU REALISE THAT WHAT YOU READ IS NOT WHAT I MEANT

They'll sell to clueless tourists as a souvenir to take home...maybe for themselves. More likely for friends/family.
I've seen Celtic/Rangers, Liverpool/Everton and Arsenal/Spurs also being offered for sale (and being bought) outside their respective grounds previously,
Clearly they are an anaethma to a real fan but doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure who would (and does) buy?? Does it?

It's not the first time I hear, or see, scarves representing both the teams in a high profile match, they are usually sold because this way people can prove they were at that match but to do it for a derby is fucking stupid imho.

Could it be that he was just taking the piss? Bet thing or something like that?
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?
