Thank god we got rid

Postby Chinners » Wed Jan 20, 2010 2:20 pm

Thomas Cook Sport is kicking off January with a new campaign designed to tackle the frostbite of football fans across the country, and is appealing to Liverpool FC fans to get involved.

The campaign will see Thomas Cook Sport promoting its Holiday Club discount for fans of participating football clubs by warming up fans suffering in freezing temperatures at January fixtures.

Creating a tropical theme pre-match, Thomas Cook Sport will deck Anfield out in palm trees and sombreros ahead of the team's game against Bolton on Saturday 30 January, serving fans limited edition Club coloured ice cream.

Thomas Cook Sport is calling on Reds fans to support the event by naming the striking red ice cream, which will be served to thousands of football fans at the game. Whether it's a Reina Ripple or a KOPperbockerglory, send your suggestions with your name and telephone number, with LFC in the subject field, to competitions@hatchcommunications.co.uk by Tuesday 26 January to be in with a chance of winning a deckchair signed by the First Team, plus the opportunity for you and a friend to be at the game and be the first person to sample the ice cream. The winner will even get to go onto the pitch at Anfield to take part in the half time activity!

Embarassing stuff altho the naming of the ice cream does warrant attention ...

They could just go with an Ice Cream flavour of Liverpools favourite fruit... robberry

or maybe the constant line I get from the Scouse round our way ... 'Next May'
