Fact is, forgetting everything else that has happened in his career, Mutu is fine goal scorer. That said, I don't think he is what we should be looking for.

The problem with Mutu is that he's now at an age where he might be more inclined to retire than to pay £17m (I would). Appealing is as much a delaying tactic as anything. While I'm sure he's looking at options and seeing if something can be worked out the fact is that the day he steps foot back into the prem is the day he brings a world of hurt his way in terms of legal problems.

Spot on, Chelsea would be onto FIFA within seconds of him signing on the dotted line for us.
