Bellamy and the BBC

Love how they have to compare him to Baconface. A bit childish if true, but probably in character.

CRAIG Bellamy is at war with the BBC after being ridiculed on Match Of The Day.

And the £14million Manchester City striker is ready to follow Sir Alex Ferguson by refusing to speak to the network after games.

Fergie fell out with the BBC after a documentary accused his footie agent son Jason of profiting from his dad’s position.

Pundits Gary Lineker, Alan Shearer and Alan Hansen mocked Bellamy on last weekend’s MOTD when Everton midfielder Marouane Fellaini took the ball from him in a sublime piece of skill.

They laughed and joked about wanting to repeat the clip and said they were delighted it happened against Bellamy, 30.

But the incident has led to at least one outraged viewer complaining to the Beeb about its stars’ “bias and lack of professionalism”.

A source said: “Craig thinks he is being victimised.

SDLqHe’s used to criticism but to find them laughing and joking at his expense has left him livid.

“It was said Craig once sent Shearer an abusive text when Newcastle were beaten in a game.”

A BBC spokesman told the Daily Star Sunday: “The reference was an off-the-cuff joke by Alan Hansen. Alan Shearer had picked out a fantastic piece of skill from Fellaini.

“Hansen joked it was only shown because Bellamy was on the receiving end, Shearer having had a well-publicised spat with Bellamy when they played together at Newcastle.”

Fuck them the bunch of cunts (....if there's any truth in this story; which i doubt....and I shall be on "lawsuit watch" as I am sure that Bellers will sue if this has no foundation).

Shaun Goater and Craig Bellamy occupy a strange but brilliant place in my blue affections. Two players I could never have imagined me taking to but who I fucking LOVE.

Legends. Both of them

MOTD really is the shittest football program on TV.

Its inbred and all those in house jokes arent funny.

Why do they have 2 ex scouse defenders talking about attacking? Give it 2 more years and Owen will join the club/

The only good thing is Lee Dixon.

this is unbelievable, we're acting like spoilt children. its a fucking joke. motd is a great programme and every now and then they take a little jibe at someone in a jovial manner. fellaini's skill was a lovely little bit of play and deserved showing. i won't believe craig bellamy is considering taking any kind of action against the BBC until he comes out and says it.

Don't believe it either. Bellamy plays football with a smile on his face, he's seen too much of the grief less lucky people have to deal with in their lives not to know he's blessed for being able to make a good living for kicking a ball (and occasionally other players) around. Christ but people are getting to be like ManU fans on here, "City must win every game, City have to demolish every team they play", similarly "anyone who has a laugh at anything about City is the enemy." Too serious, too much.
