Sets up a double header as we go to the Britannia three days later.

Didn't want to Jinx it but yup it's a good draw for us me thinks. There are only two teams left in it that give I fear now Villa and Chelski

It´ll be tough but we´ve got to be steeled up for it - don´t like the prospect of 6,000 J.P. Gumbys at COMS

Definately not a bad draw for us, but there are some big teams left in it.
Draw in full:
Southampton v Portsmouth
Reading v West Bromwich Albion
Fulham v Notts County or Wigan Athletic
Chelsea v Cardiff City
Bolton Wanderers v Tottenham Hotspur or Leeds United
Derby County v Birmingham City
Manchester City v Stoke City
Wolverhampton Wanderers or Crystal Palace v Aston Villa
Leeds must be loving their draws so far, all away from home!

Stoke away would have been a real banana skin.
Stoke at home however is a very winable game.
As mr mancini would say we've got the class, its all about concentration from this point on.

I'd still be wary of going to WHL if Spuds get by Leeds and then Notlob.
But yeah, good draw for us at home. Could have been a bit better, but could have been much worse.
Villa are away for their match.
And there will be at least 2 teams we'd be heavily favored over with the S'hampton v Pompey and Reading v WBA ties.

Just noticed that the games are played 13th or 14th Feb, then we play Stoke away in the league on the 16th. Anyone remember the W Ham games under Sven?

I recall they were pretty dire football, no?
The contoversial Vasell "offside or not" goal.

We played them 3 times in 2 weeks I think. Drew the first cup game, drew the league game then beat them in the replay (I think).

Good draw tbh. Home draw and avoided Chelsea, Spurs and Villa. Gotta be happy with that

Top draw for us. Another chance to put one over on Pulis. Can't stand the man, and the way he plays football.
