Toure

Postby giokingkladze » Sun Jan 24, 2010 9:07 pm

Could he be back for us on Wednesday night? 15 mins left of Ivory Coast's match v Algeria, current score 1-1. Am I right in thinking it's now the knock-out stages? And would it be too much to ask to be back and ready if they lose anyway?

It is indeed the quarter finals mate and if it finishes a draw it would go to extra time or penalties and if Ivory Coast do get knocked out i cant see Kolo coming home and playing to be honest but he might want to.

haha, thats what you think. Ivory coast scored in the 90th minute but algeria score in the 91st. Unbelievable! Extra time to come.

I don't think we'd play him anyway. By the time he got back and recovered he wouldn't be ready for it. He hasn't even met Mancini yet.

I'm in no rush to see him back, we defend better without him! (and Lescott)

Don't think he would be back untill the Portsmouth game if they do go out. As someone said we have looked stronger at the back since he has been away to be fair.

?
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Classic...

That said, Toure would make a good compliment or deputy for Vinny and Nigel.
