Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Trying not to think about it too much & succeeding, except last night when I dreamed we won 2-0. I felt sooooo shit when I woke up and realised it was just a dream. Just want the build-up on Wednesday to be over with as quickly as possible. I didn't enjoy 1 minute of my day last Tuesday, til the final whistle that is!

Me?
I'm having trouble concentrating because it's all I can bloody think of.
Come on blues !!!
I'm feeling sick, but I have a hunch it might be more related with the university exam I had to sit through early this morning, in a freezing room, from which I left shivering and, I suspect, with a slight fever.
This said, I'm feeling rather confident about the game, not strangely as I usually am on such occasions, lol. I just wish I lived in Manc so I could have tried to find a ticket.

i just hope mancini isnt going to set out the team out so defensively. we should go looking to win.
Well said, my thoughts exactly!
The thing is they are gonna come at us in the first 20 minutes or so and pound our defence obviously leaving there backs open but we will be too busy defending to do anything about it like the last 20 minutes of the last match.

You've got to remember we have nothing to lose here. We've already made progress by getting to a semi final for the first time in yonks. Anything from here is a bonus. Having said that I hope we get off to a cautious start and work our way into the game.
Shrek is the only weapon of theirs I fear. We need to deprive him of possession. That should be enough.

Having looked at the team Grob posted on the other thread, I think we have a stronger starting eleven.
This may come down to extra time and if it does, much may depend on who we have on the bench Vs who they have on their bench.
I wonder, if it gets to the later stages and taggart has to make changes, will he do so with an eye on their Arsenal fixture at the weekend? Can he afford to burn out his team in this game or will the Arsenal game be a priority?
I KNOW THAT YOU BELIEVE THAT YOU UNDERSTOOD WHAT YOU THINK I WROTE, BUT I AM NOT SURE YOU REALISE THAT WHAT YOU READ IS NOT WHAT I MEANT
