Went along the day after a good win and wasn't really expecting anything much today but I arrives to plenty of cars ,photographers and a film crew setting up. The main bunch no doubt as it is crunch week but the film crew apparently doing something on Craig Bellamy for the club. Not sure when that is likely to be seen.

On the football front they were all out there minuse those who played all or most of yesterday's game. Vieira for the first time out doing some gentle work 1 to 1 which finished early so it's a no for him for Wednesday ( his words as he left the field) lescott was also 1 to 1 with a physio so if he isn't up to full training yet he is still out. Bridge though was back with the group but the best news was Adebayor back and playing.

Mancini was doing his usual work with a group of 11 whilst Kiddo was working with about 5 or 6 on some pass and move routines. Then they all got together and played a 7 a side game in a 5 a side area! It was fun and frenetic and Ade looked fine before anyone asks. The 12 players were Trippier,Cunningham,Tevez,Ade,Bellers,SWP,Garrido,Micah,Zabba,Barry,Vidal with Neilsen and Given in goal.

SWP seemed to get hurt at one point as he aim to smash a shot but Garrido nicked the ball away and SWP smashed his foot instead. The screams were worse than the injury:) Typically SWP was up and at it quite quickly. Bellers,Tevez and Ade looked very lively and Micah was in good mood trying a few outrageous overhead efforts that didnt come close. Part of the rules of the game were a penalty was given after 3 corners but it didn't matter much as Tevez just kept missing them. SWP had a go and missed as well.Best goal of this session was Ade with a chest control and calm volley across just inside the post.Really whetting the appetite.

Competitive as ever and I think finished off by a goal from Barry who showed very quick feet to take and turn in with his right foot. They finished after this apaert from some penalties where again Tevez shows he can miss and SWP just couldnt get one past Nielsen but it didn't matter as he said it won't come to penalties anyway. Just as long as he doesnt take one if it does.Garrido was the best by far scoring every time as did Bellers.

As most went inside Ade stayed out with Mancini to do some finishing from crosses along with Alex Nimley who was called over from the reserves.Bellers did some extra free kick work from the edge of the box.

Shortish session but a good one.

[stating_the_bloody_obvious_mode] Yep, Adebayor from the bench will be much more effective than Benjani. I feel better already about Wednesday. [/stating_the_bloody_obvious_mode]

I wonder if Ade will start on Wednesday then, we could do with an outlet like him at the swamp.

Dejong was taken off at 1/2 time at Scunthorpe, was that just to rest him or is he injured, does anyone know?

Hope so ...I Just remembered what Bacon face said before the league game , Not sure what the question was but he responded with something like not worried their best player is not playing ( refering to Ade 's ban ) Come on City

Good report as usual, I hope Ade starts on Wednesday but just to have him back is great news. Tevez has better be flushing all the missing out of his system before the game, lol.

Really wonder why those on the fringes have bene massively over taken. Vidal looked shit hot to me in the summer. A bigger version of richards.

Also what happened to Logan?!

Vidal a bigger version of Micah!! I must look closer next time or I am looking at the wrong person. Logan's on loan somewhere isn't he?
