Don't bother, I've just read it and its just another journo taking a swipe to get lots of hits and comments on his blog. Best to avoid as not to give them the satisfaction.

on gaurdian foorball page theres like 3 stories about us and one about the rat, i read the tevez one and it's the most anti-city article i've ever read and its supposed to be about tevez. talking about cook saying we paid a probable 60 odd million in total for tevez and he isnt any good, I want the 4 minutes i spent reading the article back.

Exactly my thoughts, couldn't even be arsed after the first couple of paragraphs, "City haven't denied the £47m figure", "if Cook did deny it I wouldn't believe him" (paraphrased). Well here's a thought then, shut the fuck up about it you cock.

But, if we're measuring up the 'not worth the money claim', is it fair to wonder what it was in fact that you paid?

Honestly don't care! I remember debating the £3 and a bit million Blackburn paid for Shearer all those years ago and since then I've lost interest in wages and transfer fees that clubs pay.

All I care about is Tevez scoring goals. If he scores a couple more on Wednesday we could of paid £100m and it would of been worth it to get to Wemberleeee

That's fair comment. And I wasn't posting reference to the article as some kind of approval of Neville's comment, for the record.

I'm accept my take on it is going to be different anyways I look at the issue. Its not Tevez at all really, just his 'non-agent adviser' Kia and all the others who take so much out of the game

True but even if unsavoury characters like that take money out, the Sheikh is trying to put millions into the game, a lot of which would circulate & Platini & co are desperately trying to find ways to stop him whilst saying others who've put their clubs into enormous debt are ok provided they can pay it off. Somehow I don't think that us doing one deal signing Tevez is the thing people should be worrying about.

I actually love reading some of the bullshit that the media dream up and the way they spread it like wildfire; it is very entertaining. Take the Tevez thing, I reckon the original hyper-sum of 47 million came from an estimation of what the scum were prepared to pay him (75 grand a week) and the actual transfer fee of 25.5 million which works out at 45 million. Add a bit of an incentive to move of 2 million, or 80 grand a week (also to hide the ease to calculate how they go their figure), and Eh-Presto, you've got your 47 million!

They remind me of a Mensa group, with intelligence substituted for bullshit!
