That the rags are goin 442 for our game with either Shrek/Berbaflop or Berbaflop/Owen up front and they will play 2 wingers Valencia and Nani. This leaves only 2 in midfield imo and if we play 5 in mid we will murder them.Thoughts.

I said to my mate the other day we would play 5 across the middle but that was when I thought Vieira was gonna play. I still think we will because we got over run in the middle at the swamp last time ( second half ). If they set up the way the mongs on red cafe say then we will be ok

Cant see him playing Owen. He doesn't like him and he played like a cunt on Saturday.
One thing Bacon isn't is a fool, and to me they seem more effective with 5 in the middle, certainly against better teams. More likely to put Berbaflop up top and give Rooney a free role in midfield. Which is dangerous.

The reason they actually did so well at our place is they dominated midfield if they play 4-4-2 we would dominate midfield and it would be a different game altogether. Baconface would be taking a chance doing it but he's so full of himself these days thinking they are invincible he probably will.

What I like is that f*rgie hasn't dared play the kids against us, infact you could argue we played the kids against him, average age of our team was 23.
If Ade is back, and ok to play I think we should play Ireland up in the fulcrum of a busy midfield, using bellers and swp to break fwd, with barry and dejong to hold ship.
I kinda hope Bridge is back too. Think Garido is ok for the normal teams, but not big 4 teams.

Tevez has to play in this, no question about it. I would put Ade up with him if he's ok to play, i think having the big guy up there will definitely cause United problems because they looked very shakey from corners in the 1st leg. I also think Bridge should be in if fit. Sylvinho will be ok against Valencia but i think he might struggle if United decide to play Nani insted. As for the Midfield, I think Barry and De Jong should be able to break down their play no problem. With SWP and Bellers on the wings, maybe bring Ireland on later in the game. Does anyone know if Kolo will be back in time for this?

He also got spit roasted by Lennon. No way chief, can't have Sylvinho starting at left back against Valencia. I wish we had Lescott because that's exactly where I'd play him in this game. If Vieira was fit I would play Barry at LB, but I'm beginning to think we only pretended to sign Vieira!
