Dirk Kuyt is one of the worst footballers I have ever seen. I stand by my view that Benji is a better player.

Ok, put it this way, Kuyt has had more goals for Liverpool in his three and a half years mostly playing on the wing than Benjani has had in his career up front!

Benjani's nowhere near the player he was when we signed him imo & he was only an 'ok', 'can do a job' rather than brilliant player then.

And Voronin makes both look class acts in the premiership.

That is very very true.

Although signing Voronin was just like if they'd sign Benjani. Just plain weird.

He was never a "brilliant" player but I know what you mean he was the highest goal scorer when we signed him maybe because of Portsmouth tactics or the fact Harry got the best out of him.

I have to agree and disagree here. Voronin is a much better footballer than Babel who basically is shit. He has moments (usually two or three a season) when he produces magic, but time in between he's utter gash.

Voronin may look like a better player than Kuyt - in fact most players do. But there are few players more important for their teams than Kuyt. I think he's very important both to Liverpool and to the Dutch national team, and I honestly believe that his grit earned the scousers just as many points as Torres's brilliance did last season.
