In anticipation of tomorrow night i know i am struggling to settle how about you guys.

Had similar trouble last night, was watching the first leg again at 2:00am, Decided for a bit of 'erb tonight to 'take the edge off it'. I'm gonna be chuffin hyper tomorrow from 9:00am til Kick-off, and god knows after that.

This is mint lads. I hope you're all enjoying these good times like I am. Grew up supporting City and Salford Rugby League, and both of them have won a grand total of f-all in my life so far.

But whatever happens in the match, and even if we don't get a pot this season, its still fuckin' great to be blue!

Am smoking and drinking myself to death. After going to watch City for 50 years, you'd think I could handle it..probably anyone else but the Rags and I could. Have always hated derby matches and have watched the Blues from the Stretford End in the past but it doesn't get any easier, in fact, it's worse. Will need to be in a padded cell by tomorrow......and btw I must be as old as John68 but haven't got his bravado (he's so chilled he must be on something:-) btw2 - any safe pubs in Salford to watch the match :-)

I have never stopped supporting the blues since the very first time i walked onto the Kippax and i was at the 81 Semi-Final but this game has more significance in my mind and thats why i am finding sleep hard to come by.

I could handle it if it wasn't that shower of shit, i'm 42 was there in 76 and 81 I come from Salford all my family are reds, I expect to lose every derby, coz when I get my hopes up we get fucked. This time I just don't want to hear all the false dawn shit if we lose. Win or lose I will act with class and dignity to every rag I know and rub it in to any that I don't. This is Robertos acid moment he got away with it a bit at eastlands this time everything has to be right.
I do know that if they win it will only be papering over the cracks but we must not forget they have a decent team.
