Cliches To Look Out For

Postby King Kev » Wed Jan 27, 2010 7:34 am

Here are a few of my predictions on clichés that will be used by SkySports tonight. Please add your own;

    Powder-keg
    First goal is all important
    Dennis Tueart over-head kick

"Bold tactics from Ferguson giving youngsters a chance"

Despite Rafael being only player under 35 on their line up.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Another Cup that U** could do without the extra game in beofre the much more important Arse game on Sunday
Look at all those empty seats, the last train to Euston / Bournemouth will be empty
Money-bags City could buy the cup

On a slightly related note, how annoying was the commentary on Sunday? When we were ahead, it was City this, City that. As soon as the first equiliser went in it was Millionaire City / Money-Bags City

More of the same tonight & One final cliche-:

The Utd fans are on the pitch in an attempt to get the tie postponed, It's like 1974 all over again

"City have an embarassment of riches on the bench."
