I hope Webb has a good game, he is one of the stronger ones. Could have been worse, ala battenburk

However, ALAN WILEY will be adding FERGIE FUCKING TIME THE TWAT!

For me this is the worst line up of officials that we could have got.

Even that dicky kid who agve the fake goal is better.

Webb's not that bad really but he is fookin trigger happy to send people off. Wasn't he the one who sent off three players in league cup final few years back between Chelsea and Arsenal. At least one of them was our very own Ade (if it was Webb but I do seem to remember it was).

Wiley on the other hand used to be Ferguson's very own lap dog HOWEVER didn't Taggart just get touchline ban for saying that "Wiley isn't fit to referee in Premier League"?
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Can only see Wiley wanting to show his authority after recent events rather than being Taggarts lapdog

As long as it's not any of the officials from the African Cup of Nations.

THat's two quarter finals decided by horrendous referee decisions (Toures disallowed goal, and Egypt's non-goal goal).

Haha cant see that ever happening since they don't use FA refs as far as I'm aware.

I thought Webb had a good game, he stopped any flashpoints from occurring although it does seem that SWP gets a lot less fouls because he small whereas a bigger play would get the fouls for the contact

For me he got what on the face of it wasn't a major decision (at the time) incorrect. When Fletcher slid into Richards, got nowhere near the ball, Richards reacted, free kick to MU and the passage of play led to the 2nd goal.
Balotelli......that's a brilliant finish.

oh yeah, besides the blatantly obvious that he missed, there was a header in U""s box that Richards and somebody else (City player) collided for. Result, free kick to them lot.

He didn't stop a single flashpoint occurring. They had total carte blanche, the one and only reason there wasn't more going on is that we were disciplined and didn't rise to their provocation or retaliate. He was never in control.

I didn't think the officials were that bad today. We were never going to get such free kicks and penalties as those mentioned at OT, no matter who was in charge. The only disappointment is the game still ended in the 93rd minute, after at least a two minute goal celebration. I'm pretty sure we wouldn't have scored, but the opportunity would've been nice.
