we have our staff meeting today where everyone in the company gets together for presentations etc at 10.00am. Dead dull. Our deputy chief exec has asked me this morning to show the Rooney winning goal on in the boardroom at the start of the game. He had a big grin on his face.

So, using my video editing abilities I've gladly said yes. However, I've spliced the goal together with Beckford's goal in the FA Cup and only used the audio from the Beckford goal throughout :-)

It went well and got a big laugh from the crowd! He whacked me over the head with this clipboard but that was it.

He was going on about all the stick he was getting during the last week and how good last night was for him and made some link about if we worked as hard as Rooney and you'll get your rewards. Unknowningly as he was saying this Beckford was slotting it into the net on the screen behind :-)

Felt on a roll so when the Finance Director did her presentation and was doing the P&L sheets, she asked for questions. I asked her if our company was to go into debt to the tune of £700m would you do a bond issue or is that a silly idea?
