It's quite a big step though, mate. I thought Luton Shelton was pure quality when he was at Helsingborg, never made it further than the Sheffield Utd bench.

Well in Italy it is reported now that Parma might be keen on allowing the move getting Bojinov as exchange (don't know if it is a full swap, or only a part exchange) but they are unsure about doing it now or in the summer. However, it's only a website that reports this for now, none of the big Italian sport papers have the news yet for what I can see on their websites.

For those who don't know him, here's his wikipedia page:

And Afonso Alves was head and shoulders above everyone else in Allsvenskan.

Have to admit that he looked quality for Helsingborg and has been pretty solid for Parma.

YAAAAAY another defensive midfielder!!!
We have created fucl all from midfield recently, just hoping for some brilliance from Tevez.
Can't wait til Vieira is fit, we'll be treated to Pearcesque football, only with more talent

All the reports I've read suggest he is a defensive midfielder.
Also, 3 goals in Serie B would mean he is quite poo if he was an attacking midfielder

You are both wrong and both right at the same time, lol. He's not a strictly defending midfielder, but not an only attacking one either. He's box-to-box, from what I know.

That's what we need, we're too pedestrian in MF this season without Ireland being in full 'superman' form.
