Mancini scarf style question?

Postby crossan » Fri Jan 29, 2010 3:20 pm

Is it one scarf he wears or two as it looks quite big compared to the bar scarf we got for the derby a year or two back?

im sure he just wears one but his is certainly longer.

with the derby ones its hard to do that style with out nearly strangling yourself. michael hutchence and david carradine would bloody love them.

it's one. you fold the scarf in half, wrap around your neck, and pull the frilly ends through the loop.
unless your a rag, then you wrap around your neck and pull as tight as you can...
Berbatov wins golden boot, spends following season on the bench while his team loses title on goal difference. Well played, Fergie.

When I wear mine in that style there is not much left to pull through so his must be bigger..................mine was £3 from the offy shop 12 months ago but the pre order one is £8 plus postage so its either bigger or they are cashing in on it!!

The scarf tying technique is hardly rocket science...been doing it for years! Suddenly mancini does it and it's 'the italian way'

I agree mate, I've been doing it for years too (the few occasions I wear a scarf, as I usually don't) and I've seen a lot of people doing it here in Rome, but Mancini does it and it's "Mancini Style".

MANCINI OUT!!!! ;)

I know. I'd rarely wear scarves that aren't long enough to tie that way.

The chances are his scarf is one of them swish Cashmere ones that you can get from saville rogue.... they do football scarves for loads of clubs, £40 a pop tho is a bit steep for a scarf. Their scarves would easily be big enough to fold in half and wear that way.

I'd speculate that Roberto has a fine, Italian, 15 1/2" neck and you fat bastards are what 18 1/2?
As the scarf is in half that accounts for 6 full english inches.
The scarf's long enough for someone in decent shape.
Except mine which is too short
:-)
