The win is all important.

Great chance to improve our goal difference as Portsmouth will field a weakened team. Mancini to instruct the team to go on the attack for the 90 minutes. Should be fun. We need the win to be big to start to restore a little bit of faith that we can make top four and put pressure on some of the teams around us. Will be interesting to see if Ireleand plays and if he does what his performance is like.

CITY 4-1 Portsmouth pirates

Ade, Tevez, Stevie and SWP. Taking my lad to his first of the season tomorrow to see if he's old enough to be going yet and really hope its a great game and atmosphere to get him excited.

For some reason I don't think we'll thrash them tomorrow, I'd take a scrappy 1-0 right now.

I won't be expecting a goalfest. We are not that type of team anymore. We will play controlled and confident football and will most likely win 2-0.

Its about time we turned someone over. We did this lot 5-0 recently and we ahve got stronger since then and they have got weaker, hopefully they can be our whipping boys for the season and help our goal difference along the way. We shouldn't concede against this shower of shite so I will go with a morale restoring 9-0.

Tevez (2) Ade(2) Petrov(1) Bellers(1) SWP(1) Richards(1) Kompany (1 Pen!)

Looking forward to welcoming back our Wednesday heroes. Our time will come. I don't expect six tomorrow. But we are too good not to win. City lives in our hearts. Fill COMS tomorrow.

1-0 to City. And we'll have to work hard for it.
