I wrote that. I gather it from the article I translated in this thread, which says he's going today for his medical, so I guessed this would be done at Carrington ;) But who knows if Sky Italia have their facts right about the medical being today...

Talksport just mentioned we've got a bid in then Mark Saggers said "what kind of player do you get for £7M these days?" & "he's probably only worth £2M if you add on the City price".

So now these wankers are having digs at us for NOT spending £30 M on a player!!

True there is nothing openly talking about this, but there is news of Parma buying Valiani from Bologna, who is a midfielder too, so maybe this could be interpreted as a move in light of Mariga leaving them.

He did really well in Sweden a few seasons ago, but that doesn't much ... What does speak for his talent is that he was bought driectly from the Swedish league by an Italian club. Most players in the Swedish competition takes the step to the big leagues through the Dutch or Danish leagues.

As Nooly said he was good playing in the infamous Allswedish but one impact this fella is gonna do is to make Micah look like a pale ginger. Mariga is BLACK and hopefully a player that suites our style whatever that style might be.

I really think this is a done deal now, or very close to be. Parma's list of players for the match against Inter doesn't enclude him, but does include the new midfielder they bought from Bologna, a move that was officialised today.

Does anyone think he will be paraded today? Not sure if we could've got a work permit sorted over the weekend.

There's a big push to get it moved to a different time of year going on, hopefully will happen

Hope so, it should be played at the same time as the European championships. Incidently, who pays the wages of these players while they are away? Bet its the clubs.
