Oooooo! I do hope so! Great signing if it comes off! Just what we need in Midfield.

A better translation (nothing against you giokingkladze but I really cringe when I read the babelfish translations, they ought to improve that):
After three seasons McDonald Mariga is ready to leave Italy. Despite the Inter Milan interest, Parma has decided to sell the player to Manchester City, accepting the bid of 10 million plus the ownership of Valeri Bojinov, at the moment on loan at Parma itself. Pushing the deal to its conclusion was in Particular Roberto Mancini, who has always appreciated the Kenya midfielder and openly asked him to his board.
The agreement has been reached in the afternoon, even if Parma chairman Tommaso Ghirardi and the general executive manager Pietro Leonardi had already defined the agreement with the English club in yesterday's late evening. Mariga didn't train with his teammaes in the Collecchio sports center, as he was busy sealing various aspects of the deal (first of all, the English work permit) and tomorrow he has planned the final step: the medical.
At the same moment, ten years after his first experience with the Gialloblù, Hernan Crespo is set for his return to Parma. The player has been sold by Genoa in a complex movement of strikers bringing Amoruso from Parma to Atalanta (contract until 2011) and Robert Acquafresca from Atalanta to Genoa.
I think he's fit so he should have no troubles being available for next week's game at Stoke.

Nice. Cheers for the proper translation mate. If he signs tomorrow is that too late for Sunday?

Probably not, in theory, but I don't think Mancini would play him without even a training session with the team, we are not that desperate.

No no, but from the bench maybe? I dont think it'd be in desperation. We dont currently have a strong box to box midfielder like him. I hope it gets done and excited to see how he does in the Prem. He's looked really classy for Parma when ive seen him. It heralds the end of Boj though and thats sad. Never had a chance here. So unlucky with injuries.

I think players must be signed by a set time on Friday afternoon to play in the weekend's matches so it will be too late. More importantly CFFR, is he actually any good?

I have to say I don't watch Parma often, so I don't know how good he is. However, so far I've only read good reviews of him.

More than me mate, until lunctime today never heard of him, that could be the best bit of ignorance I've ever exhibited in my life, or, it could be a Christian Negouai moment(when we signed him I thought YESSSS! er..who?, no, Keegan knows what he's doing...eek)

if you look through more youtube videos you'll find a report that was linking him with United in the summer. Apparently fergie offered ~5m plus macheda for him, but parma didn't take it.
He looks like the kind of player we could really use in midfield, so I'm happy about it. We'll see what happens.

Hope this one comes off, along with Johnson. They're just the kind of signings we should be making. Young and talented.
Any developments? I read on another thread that he's due soon at Carrington for his medical.
