Looks like Johnson and McDonald could be coming in tomorrow, who knows we could sign one of them tonight.

Just says improved offer mate, the last was about £4.5million apparently so i'd imagine it will be closer to the £7million range this time.

im sure middlesborough will want to get it done, as hes out of contract in summer. but i would go for 5-6 mill as if he dosent come now, we could get him for nowt in summer

Adam Johnson is prem quality, I have absolutely no doubt about it. I have always liked him and said at the end of last season that he would have been the only player I would take from the relegated teams.

If he has a great 6 months with Santos and a decent world cup will Bobby Manc sell? If he does nothing in the next 6 months will anybody be willing to pay the fee and his wages? So we could have 4 players fighting for the 1 position.

Petrov will be gone in the summer. I've enjoyed having him here but he isn't good enough for a top 4 team which is ultimately what we are trying to become.
