Crossan, the poll question and the question you're asking in your post are not the same, which makes it a bit confusing. yes, he should lose the captaincy, No, he sould not remain captain.

I really do feel for bridge but I dont understand why terry should not be england captain because he is a real life cunt? He is a leader on the pitch and a good football captain IMO.

No not because Bridge is a city player but a captain needs trust simple as you have to trust your captain. How the fuck can any of those guys trust that cunt now?

Personally I despised the cretin even before this came out and I was happy when his proposed move to City fell through and now we know why it failed,he managed to get more money out of Chelsea as well, what a complete and utter scumbag, shithole, tosser and lowlife he is and always will be.

No, for the simple reason that it creates unneccessary controversy between now & the World Cup. He can still be an influential player on the pitch without being captain but as for doing interviews etc for the world's press as the official spokesman for the England team; absolutely not.

No.

Good player absolute twat of a man. A man like him cannot be the representative of England when England is disgusted by his behaviour.

Because he has betrayed the trust of not only a colleague but a good friend. Do you really think that the other england players are have any trust in him as a leader? You don't shit on you oppos!

100 % agree with this. It`s about his footballing leadership not wether he has shagged a mates EX. If its down to trust as vhero`s indicated we`re fucked as a country cos I don`t trust any of them. The press again the nations thought police. And you think it only happens in Russia and China...Fools.

Trust on the football pitch is different though, and you know what you're going to get with Terry. You can trust that he will give his all, throw himself in front of every ball and you know that you're fighting for the same cause ON the pitch. I agree with Wonderwall that this will have very little impact on the pitch and he makes a good captain.

Having said that I think he would still display all the same leadership qualities with or without the armband. If there was a standout second candidate I wouldn't mind them getting the nod.

But people don't think like that though. We can't just switch off what we know on the field and neither can professional football players after all they are human. It's gonna be in the back of their heads what he did and when they look at him they are gonna think of it. Trust is off and on the field.

they will give the captaincy to rooney as he is apparently the new messiah and can do no wrong.
SSN are awaiting footage of him actually walking on water.

I voted 'no'.

I imagine it would be rather difficult to receive a pep talk from someone when you know he's been spending his spare time with his knob in the mouth of the woman you love.

No from me too. The problem with this though is that he's going to divide the squad. Look at the three from ours who came out with their support for Bridge yesterday. It was telling that Barry & SWP weren't wearing the t-shirts as they couldn't be seen to oppose the current England captain.
