Where do they play? And if they use several venues, where will this fixture be played?

Barclays Premier Academy League
20 February 2010 11:00
Manchester City vs Liverpool

I'd be tempted to go and watch the youngsters

Can't confirm for that fixture, but the reserve derby is being played on Thursday at Alty's ground. There should be a few youngsters on show, and maybe even Bridge/Lescott/Vieira(!)/Adam Johnson? No idea really, and Johnson will probably go straight into the first team squad, but I'll be going along anyway.

It's a Manchester Senior Cup fixture and it's free for season ticket holders as well, 7pm kick off.

Was it Andy Welsh cos he's been moved from head of the Academy to now looking after Academy graduates and the reserve team?

It was me! They saw me coaching the girls at my school and they thought i was good enough. They were going to ask me if i wanted to take over from Mancini but i was too young!

Might go watch that actually. Make sure we all dress up warm though! It will be a cold night

DH is right 99% under 18 games are at platt lane-free to watch.under 16s play at the same time.Best to ring platt lane before you travel every now and then a fixture may be played at Hyde and the club also play the odd fixture on a Friday morning.

Just a heads up in case anyone was planning on watching this tonight... it was called off by the referee this morning and they haven't been able to find another venue for tonight. It's a cup match so it should be rearranged soon enough.
