I can only echo other sentiments regarding no Parent wanting to bury their Child. 18 was no age at all.

RIP Sibylle.

The body of Sibylle Sibierski, 18, was found by police who forced their way into her apartment in Altrincham following reports of concern for her welfare.

It emerged the part-time nightclub promoter was arrested on suspicion of assault the previous day after a row with her boyfriend at her Denmark Street home and was later released without charge.

Online tributes to the teenager came flooding in following her death on Monday afternoon as friends set up a Facebook page entitled ''Sibylle Sibierski...Rest in Peace...You will never be forgotten''.

Tonight the ex-Premier League striker and his wife, Isabelle, paid their own tribute in a statement issued on their behalf by Altrincham-based solicitor and family friend Andrew McHale.

They said: ''Sibylle was a beautiful, intelligent, loving and independent girl.

''Like most girls of her age she was creating her own life away from her parents. In this we fully supported her. We had a normal relationship with our teenage daughter, we had our differences of opinion but the love between us all was strong.
''Sibylle adored her brother and sister. She loved us. She loved her friends. She loved life.

''We cannot understand why our child took her own life. We know that she had been arrested on Sunday for allegedly scratching the face of her boyfriend. The day after this she ended her life. We don't believe for a moment that Sibylle meant to leave this world.
''What we do know is that our world has been shattered and will never be the same again.''

Mr and Mrs Sibierski, from Hale Barns, said it was a ''matter of private grief'' but they wanted to issue a statement because of the way her death was reported in certain parts of the media.

It is thought they were upset at newspaper reports of excerpts from her Facebook social networking page which referred to her apparently not getting on well with them in recent weeks.

The couple added: ''We would ask the press to leave us alone to grieve with our children. We want our beautiful daughter to rest in the peace she deserves.''

Mr Sibierski, 35, moved to Manchester City from Lens in 2003 and made 92 league appearances before he went on to play for Newcastle United and Wigan Athletic.

The French centre forward has retired from playing and is now involved in the football agency business..
