Scum screamed blue murder (hehe) over the sale of Tranaldo.

Real were utter cocks. They published a list of stars for sale and were completely indiscreet about telling players like Gago they weren't wanted. Right now they're unsettling Vidic.

Milan weren't happy over Kaka, that was also done without permission. We got slated for going through Milan first and doing it the right way, while it got leaked from their end and they did most of the talking. FFS Berlisconi appeared live on TV to say that the deal was off to jubilant crowds. That doesn't happen because they're pissed off at how we handled it.

Liverpool weren't happy about Alonso.

Of course Real are unhappy. They thought they'd turn a tidy profit on a surplus player they wanted to offload and now they're stuck paying his wages. We both left it too late in the game and part of the negotiating business is being willing to walk away. It's a much tougher job if the guy we want to make deals isn't allowed let a deal break down if it's not right for us. The amount the price dropped is proof that they were trying to do the right thing.

This cropping up more than other clubs is happening because we're an easy target and we're actually involved in the transfer market. We're much easier to slag than other big teams, especially because we don't close ranks and defend our dealings, instead we put the boot in off very minor stories.
