So, what team would you play?

I'd go for this:

-------------------------Given--------------------------

Richards--------Onuoha-------Toure---------Bridge

-------------------------Vieira-------------------------

A. Johnson------------Ireland----------------Bellamy

------------Adebayor------------Tevez----------------

Subs: Taylor, Boyata, Zabaleta, De Jong, Barry, SWP, Petrov

Yes but Jinky on the left and SWP on the right, if it doesnt work petrov on for SWP and swap wings.

Dont like Tevez and Ade on the pitch together but they need to learn to form a partnership

Lescott for Toure, Boyatta for Ned and Swp for bellers but swapping flanks and if Richards isnt fit then Ned at RB.

Not sure I'd start Bellamy. Bring him on at the end if we need him. Was hopeless today anyhow but 2 games in 4 days isn't a great idea with his knees.

I'd start Johnson & SWP in place of Ireland & Bellamy.

Bolton are changing under Coyle and will try and play football more. This gives us opportunities to play our natural game as well. Personally I would drop De Jong and play a simple 442 system:

--------------Given-------
Richards---Onuha---Lescott----Bridge
SWP-----Viera----Barry-----Johnson
-------Tevez------Ade---------

I'm not sure I know what our natural game is anymore? With the players we have in the squad you would have thought our 'natural game' would involve quick movement of the ball, pace and width but Mancini doesn't seem to want to play like that. We seem slow, patient, narrow, compact and defensive minded.

I think Tevez takes up the room Ireland likes to run into. Unless you play Tevez upfront without Adebayor, then theres more room behind him.

Ireland at the moment isnt playing anything like last season, I think he knows it and his confidence is low, maybe putting Vieira in behind him will help, instead of sideways or hoof Dejong

After today , I would drop the fucking lot of them , play the reserve team with Brian Kidd as Manager , I will drive that italian inept twat to the airport myself, put the fucking lot of the transfer market. Get in a proper manager and let him buy a team in summer.

Really sick of being shit and no matter what excuses and insults are thrown my way , you cannot excuse Hull City taking four fucking points off us this season ...

A team of fuckwits like me off this site would not have got bullied by that little Hull City twat in midfield (Hunt) , he looked like a world beater ........ instead of a twat who plays for Hull City.

Lets get real, the time for excuses is over and something needs to be done , do people at City think that the performances since that posing Italian twat has been manager are acceptable, because if they do they had better have a second budget for a half empty stadium for the second half of the season .

Agreed...Stoke is the most important of the two games this week IMHO

More worried that he would play Ireland.

Personally would play Vieira and De Jong with Barry on left and SWP on right

BRING BACK THE 442!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Shaun Wright and Petrov ain't getting a very good run out under Mancini are they?
Swp won't be going to the world cup if he doesn't start playing.

------------------Given---------------------
Richards----Toure----Lescott----Bridge

SWP-------------------------------Bellamy
-----------------Ireland--------------------
------------Tev---------Ade---------------

I've been wondering for awhile how we would go with a diamond formation. Barry in that holding role he plays for england with Ireland playing in the hole. Bellamy getting only 60 minutes today leads me to think that he may start for the Bolton game. If not I'd start Johnson as he looked lively and offers better defensive properties to Petrov.

I'd go with:

Given
Richards----Boyata----Neddie----Bridge
De Jong
SWP-------------------Bellamy
Tevez-----Ireland
Adebayor

But I think Mancini might put Vieira in the holding role, and maybe not on his own but with De Jong/Barry alongside him. As for Ireland, it's clear to me that he can only operate as an attacking midfielder behind the striker(s), it's the only position he is truly comfortable with, however it is also the position Tevez likes to drift to, so if we play both I reckon the formation I mentioned is what we should employ if we want to exploit them both at their best.

Richards will be fit for Bolton, right? If not, Zabba there. Johnson might be an option for the left too.

On his form this season he isn't in line for going to South Africa anyway.......he's out of the equation unless he catches fire form-wise IMO

Does anyone know whether Miami is allowed to play against us in this per the terms of his loan??

In terms of team for this I would play

----------------------------Given----------------------------
Richards-----------Onuoha----Toure---------------Bridge
---------------------------Vieira-----------------------------
SWP--------------Ireland-------Barry-------------Johnson
---------------------------Tevez-----------------------------

subs: Taylor, Zabaleta, Boyata, Petrov, Bellamy, Adebayor, De Jong
