Don't know really, I think probably yes - at least he has everything to do good + his age. The biggest problem is if the manager knows how to treat Balotelli's (really) big ego. In England they let you play more agressively and that would be one good thing for him. He's very physical, so this isn't a problem. And his arrogance would give you a type of player that makes mind-games on the pitch, a player that hates losing, a player that can drive the crowd and the team.

He only needs a manager with balls, someone who knows how to get the best out of him. His biggest problem at Inter is Mourinho, and the continuous clash of egos between the two of them - funny in some way. But the truth is that when he was positioned as striker, he scored ALWAYS (especially under Mancini). But Mou sees him as a forward attacking from the sides and so it comes to the clash of mentalities with Mario and some not too good games where he had to do too much in defensive duties. If positioned as a striker he's lethal.

Here's a nice vid (one of the many, but maybe the most interesting):

It pretty much sums up everything he is :)

Much better though, imho, but yes, you got the gist of it.

Watching the youtube clip surprised they left out the free kick he scored in the CL a few weeks ago.

A friend of mine from Italy is an Inter MIlan fan and he just told me on facebook Balotelli might be coming to City in the summer because him and Mourinho do not get along and a lot of people apparently cannot stand him in Italy. He insists that Balotelli is an awesome player though, very good 1 v 1, powerful shot and good vision as well.

If Mancini stays as our manager this has big chances of happening, we won't get him for cheap but we will get him. He loves Mancini and Mancini loves him, he's absolutely talented and young, so I'd be all for it, even if I can't stand him personality-wise.

if you think he makes robbie look like a "vass/dickov super-clone" then you're just daft or taking the piss.

for one thing, I've actually seen him sprint. Robbie didn't even do that for us when we were attacking, and if balotelli tracked back for even 1 corner he'd be a harder worker than robbie ... but I don't want a striker/winger being back for corners, I want him ready to counter. I guess you'd rather have 10 men in our box and just hoof it to the halfway line every time after an opp corner.

Fact is we need talent like him. And Cassano for that matter.

... unless you have more anecdotal evidence to give us that is

I'm up for this, he sounds like a wildcard but I'd rather one of those than a stable but middling striker

Most of the best strikers have a degree of the "problem child" about them IMO

What the fuck are you on about? Why can't people express an opinion without you attacking them? You've seen him sprint. Wow.

more than i've seen robi do for us this season, which I said directly after the bit you mention.

not looking to attack you, but didn't realize you have such thin skin. My opinion is that you have no idea what you're talking about, and are just spouting off. Because to claim, as you do, that his workrate is less than robinho's would mean that you are super familiar with him as a player and have probably seen every one of his appearances for inter, right?

I've seen enough of him to form an opinion, not that I should have to justify myself to you. At least I offered to give a valid opinion rather than just calling someone "daft" for expressing theirs. Then I'm "thin skinned" for defending myself!

Amazing.

I've spoken about what I think about him in other threads that have come up, and quite clearly stated a disagree with your opinion in this one. That'd be my opinion covered right there.

as for you being thin skinned ... seems self-evident, you daft wum.
