Robinho regrets leaving Real Madrid for Manchester City
Brazilian superstar Robinho has spoken of his regret at the manner of his departure from Real Madrid to Manchester City on the final day of the summer 2008 transfer window.
In an interview on Brazilian television, Robinho admitted that he forced his exit from Real Madrid , added that he regrets the way he treated the fans of the Spanish giants but he was "not happy" at the Bernabeu.
Robinho complained of being used as a “bargaining chip to sign Cristiano Ronaldo” and said he only feels sorry for "the fans, who despite being very demanding, did not deserve to be treated badly."
The Brazilian international also said in the interview that current England manager Fabio Capello "does not like Brazilians" and former Real Madrid president Roman Calderon "did not treat me well."
With his loan return to Santos sealed, Robinho said his main goal is to "enjoy playing football again" and "to be the best player in the World Cup."

Robinho tries to make Man City cry (with a backheel)
Out of 10 Premier League appearances, one FA Cup start, and one Carling Cup start, Robinho managed to score just once for Manchester City this season -- the final goal in a 4-2 FA Cup win over Championship side Scunthorpe United -- in what would be his last match before getting loaned back to Santos.

Now, after arriving back at his former club in Brazil (with Pele, on a helicopter, surrounded by inflatable sharks), Robinho has already shown City what they couldn't draw out of him this season.
On Sunday, a day after City lost 2-1 to Hull, Robinho made his debut for Santos as a substitute in the 57th minute of a 1-1 game against Sao Paulo. In the 85th minute, he reminded everyone why clubs keep thinking he's worth all the trouble he inevitably gives them by scoring a pretty backheel right in front of the goalkeeper's face to win the game.
Somewhere in the offices at Eastlands, Man City executives are watching this YouTube video and saying, "why couldn't he do that for us?!" But with a lot more explatives and a lot more keyboard punching.

The defending was comical. See the way the centre back let Robinho jog past him whilst he was almost walking back into the six yard box!

Robinho doesn't say he regrets leaving Madrid for City & he would have scored that goal for City if a PL team let him. The more I think about the defending there, the more it looks like a 'brown envelope job'.

It is suspect isn't it? He thinks about running after Robinho in the 18 yard box but then thinks, nope I'll let him go past and have a free run at goal as the winger is about to cross to him.

Fucking pussy boy Robinho,

Your not man enough for the Premier League, stay in Brazil and live in fear of being kidnapped, on low wages and make yourself feel important.

Why does he think he deserves to be considered the best player in the world, when he clearly isnt.

It's as if they make a concious decision not to stop the move & not to mark him & that smells very wiffy. It's almost easier to believe than the idea that pro footballers can actually think they're making the correct decision by leaving him unmarked. Where else was the ball going to go? Dodgy.

Strewth!

What is so complicated about the offside law, that it makes people who've been watching football for donkey's years still fail to understand it?

How does she qualify as a "WAG" ? Just cos she wants to shag footballers?

The defender in question clearly doesn't get it either - he makes a conscious decision to not mark him and then appeal for offside when the ball was played in.

Glad I wasn't alone in that offside mistake quite a few people thought it was offside it would help also if the rules were not only more fucking clearer but didn't change.
