donated my SC to a housemate for this one, got far too much work on for uni for a midweek game atm.

so we will probably win 6-0!

Removed Sopcast etc from the list for now as the blog software auto converts the links and breaks them it's pissing me off so until I can get a proper site going it will have to do.

Not what I expected, De Jong, Barry and Vieira all start with Johnson Tevez and adebayor as the attacking players

Zabaleta, Toure Kompany and Bridge as defence

hmm.. too defensive, but not unexpected im afraid.
well surely the midfield will not be asked to sit back.. so maybe with patrick in there the other two will try to string some play together.. lets see

3 defensive midfielders?! Attacking free flowing football seems such a distant memory now!

Come on City! 3 points today! No excuses!!

Vieira can do the job of barry and dejong on his own, so we are playing with 10 men again, or is it 9 men?

4-3-3 hasn't been working, and it wont work 2nite.

I'm feeling pissed off and detached from the club at the moment!!

Positives are that Vieira and Johnson are on the pitch atleast. Id drop Barry for SWP and 4-4-2 it.

however surely with Vieira covering their backs, Nige and Baz will have to look forward???

Ireland on as soon as for me

Its bizarre isnt it? What could he have seen in Boltons midfield that frightens him so much he chooses to use 3 defensive minded midfielders?

I also fear that Barry will play out wide on the left, with Johnson on the right, so we'll have no pace down the left hand side.

Makes no sense to me.

When I can be arsed - which isn't now - I'm going to find all the posts from the know-nothing bastards who said Mancini played the stylish, free-flowing, on the deck football we'd been lacking.
That starting xi is depressing as fuck - and he blatantly thinks all the players I like are shit; can't imagine the damage he's going to do to the squad in the summer.
All we are saying is give Doug a pass.

not happy with this at all. why can't SWP get a game? Petrov?
Berbatov wins golden boot, spends following season on the bench while his team loses title on goal difference. Well played, Fergie.
