NDJ was very good again, but Johnson was the bright park in the team and got us the penalty and caused Robinson big problems. A great acquisition for City, very good home debut performance and he gets my vote.

Johnson, because he broke the deadlock getting that penalty (and Tevez almost threw it away...)

Johnson for me.

Constantly threatened the Bolton defence and looked the most likely player in our time to score or create a goal.

Looks like he could be a great player for us.

Johnson was outstanding, his right foot is as good as his left aswell which makes him all the more dangerous.

Thought Barry was very good and NDJ second half really stepped up.

I went for Kompany.
It was defence which won us the game tonight but, obviously, De Jong and Johnson had good games.

1) Johnson - A breathe of fresh air
2) Kompany - Lynchpin at the back these days
3) Zabaletta - Solid defensivly and got forward very well.

Anybody else think Mad Zab had a good game? He also went a full 90mins without a booking, perfect.

My thoughts exactly, Jinky then Zabba for mine.
Tracking back is overrated.

Without a booking ?

Hardly a criteria for MOM.

However , we do live in ASBO times......

I absolutely agree with this.. Kompany is slowly becoming my favorite payer. I'm glad to see Toure making way for LEscott instead of the big man.

Considering he's the new boy, Johnson was great. As Fidel posted though, what he did was noticeable.
I went for ZABBA, he took control of a number of situations and was extremely dependable. Worked his socks off.
Was quite impressed with the efforts of Bridge too. He put a lot of hard yards in getting up and down the line.
