Think he deserves his own thread for his performance against Bolton. He was excellent.
Up there with Johnson tonight but probably gets less praise cos he is not an attacking player and doesn't stand out as much.

I could not agree more Fidel mate. I was really impresed how he took control of a number of situations.
I would nave given him my man of the match.
Much of his work seems to go unnoticed.
WELL IN ZABBA.

Agreed. His best performance in a City shirt imo & didn't give away any goalscoring chances to the oppo. If he can learn to play like that every week he'll end up a genuine top 4 standard fullback.

I thought both him and Bridge were decent at fullback, getting up and down the wings with aplomb.
He still worries me going into tackles thou... I think hes played every game so far under Mancini so I wonder if he will keep Micah out when he is fit?

Said it in another thread but Pablo was exceptionally good last night both going forward and, most importantly, defending
Lots of situations where I've seen him dive in and concede possession or free kicks in the past he stood up and marshalled his man/won possession firmly but fairly
I agree with the above, that was his best City performance. Absent Adam Johnson he would have got MOTM

Yeah, great game by him last night. I am starting to think that Mancini sees in him the City equivalent of Javier Zanetti at Inter, considering also how versatile Zabba is.

That's the main point for me as Zabba like his yellow cards. As great as the guy did last night he does normally give away too many free kicks near the box for me normally. I just feel he is normally too hard with tackling but last night I had no complaints did everything great so he's obviously working on it.
