I quite like Crouch and I'd say he was a better player too. But I think Fab Cap wants a guy who can out-muscle defenders and hold the ball up. Don't think Crouch can do that.

Bolton are playing lovely football at the minute- million miles away from anything Allardyce/Megson offered. Coyle mightn't have covered himself in glory recently but to transform a whole way of thinking in a few weeks deserves credit.

What a fucking goal that was. Villa have better players but Palace have played as good or better football which when you consider it's the much maligned Warnock's team, shows there's more to him than long ball & suggests that he's unlucky never to have had the opportunities ONeil's had.

Overall, Villa & Spurs were no bettter than us but the big difference was they attacked with purpose & the amount of dangerous balls they get in compared to the 2-3 we get in during 90 mins. They always looked like scoring when they went forward.
