Mancini's City - is that paint dry yet?

Bloody hell we're awful boring. Another drab and dour performance with little or no spark.
Yes there are players underperforming but the tactics are just horrific. It's like seeing how many defensive midfielders can be on the park at the one time.
We could've done without this replay with the extra league games to play and I feel we will be made to pay for our negativity later down the track.

I'll forgive a lot of things. Boring football is not one of them.

it is dull I agree.
Tempo appears to be our problem to be honest - looked like a very nonchelant walk in the park for most of the boys today

Just going to see if me porridge has set
If that´s an improvement then I´m dreading the rest of this season - club should have filled the ground and without Tevez and Bellers we don´t have a sniff - we won´t be clicking this season

Now that Lescott's back, I am sure Mancini will be working out how to get a starting midfield of Barry, Kompany, De Jong, Vierra. When Richard's is back his real headache starts as he will have to move Zabaleta into midfield at the expense of Adebayor.

He certainly isnt the tactician Rommel was.

No, this clearly isn't a mancini out thread, but its gone so BORING, I can't remember whether I want him out yet or not....
Nah, I want stability, even if that stability is a life-support machine rather than a breath of fresh air.
Only City can become the richest club in the world and bore me to tears and bald patches.

Come on. I want to know.
Don't be snidy. Just say it out loud.

Who implied that it was?
Can we not talk about the team without resorting to extremes?

Certainly not. Rommel was DEVious tactician.

I don't want him gone.
I'm sick of the instability, but I want him to realise that we can kill games off even when we concede, because from where I'm sitting it looks like everytime we concede, we turn more DEFENSIVE.
This performance AND result is unacceptable.

Ok. Just wanted to make it clear. When you pose a question "Mancini's City-is the paint dry yet" some might think that's exactly what you are saying.

We have not looked good since the semi at the swamp. Its like all the believe has gone from our game, we are so so boring no pace at all. With out Tevez and Bellers we are pedestrian going forward Ade is as slow as fuck never seems to break sweat at all.

Result wasn't unacceptable, we are still in cup, but the performance was.

Why?
The phrase "watching paint dry" commonly refers to something that is boring, not someone who needs to be sacked.

erm I think thats what I was implying.....by the way I think this thread is just the precursor to a Mancini/Cook out thread, just thought I'd make a historical note as we are also referring to WWII generals in the same thread

We have gone really boring of late i loved when we were counter attacking at pace all we seem to do lately is knock it long and hope Ade gets on the end of it. I really hope we inprove don't know how much more i can take of this shit.
