I don't mean individual performance positives, I mean something we did well as a team.
Right now aside from the 10 minutes before we scored, I am struggling to find anything.

I thought it was the best attacking effort since Mancio took over.

Our left flank looked good in the first half, both defensively and attacking.
We made their fullback run away from SWP.
I must remember to get a new signature.....

BT can i give you a negative.Johnson is cup tied i think we would have won the game with AJ available as he would have defo run on into the box when clean through something Rigsby could'nt or would'nt do tonight.

Not many positives during the actual game, but our overall situation still looks okay.
We'll get Tevez, Bellers and Johnson back on Tuesday, beat Stoke.
Beat the Scouse on the weekend.
Play the kids on Tuesday, I'm okay with any result there.
Scrap out a point against Chelsea.
Still in good shape.

Manchester City Played Very Well Against Stoke City – Roberto Mancini
Citizens manager pleased with performance...
By Owen Watson
Feb 13, 2010 8:37:00 PM
Stoke City came from behind to set up a fifth round FA cup replay with Manchester City this afternoon, earning a 1-1 with the Citizens at the City of Manchester Stadium.
Speaking after the match, City manager Roberto Mancini said he was enjoying the FA cup experience.
“This is FA cup, it's good for this,” he told ITV Sport. “We played very well in the first half, second half we also did well but with one throw-in for them they draw the game.
"This is football, but now we must prepare these two games – Tuesday in the Premier League and the replay.”
Mancini is expecting a very different game in the replay.
“I know that Stoke away will be a different game because the pitch is small, the stadium is different,” he said.
“But if we want to go to the next round and we want to win Tuesday we must prepare to battle, fight, but tonight we played very well.”
Fabio Capello was in attendance, and Mancini said he was pleased with the performance of his English defenders but emphasised that there was still room for improvement.
“I think that Wayne [Bridge], [Joleon] Lescott must improve because they need other games but tonight they played very well.”

Think I watched a different game to old Roberto based on that assessment.
It took us 5 minutes alone to get the ball over the half-way line today. My grandma on her mechanical stair-lift is more mobile than our crab-like midfield, and Santa Cruz makes Lee Bradbury look like a whippet.
Tevez also wont be back on Tuesday as he's pi$$ed off back to Argentina where his misses is apparently about to give birth. Tuesday should be another barrel of laughs with our 4-3-0-1-1 formation.

Yes there were positives (from a team perspective) to be taken from today's game.
Had we continued to play the whole game with the tempo, energy, and accuracy we displayed in the first 15 minutes for the whole game we would have pissed it. We didn't unfortunately.

I am a bit worried Mancini thinks we played well tonight. For the early part of the first half yes but the rest wasn't very good.
I heard him say some of this on a radio interview but he also he made the unforgivable error of blaming the fact that we were without Tevez,Bellamy and AJ. That's not what I want to hear.

Only positive is that we are still in competition.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Not for long though with your poster boy in charge he could not get offensive if someone smacked him in the mouth.
