Wayne, Shaun and Gareth

Seeing that we have those negative threads, I'd like to start a positive one in respect of these 3. Thought they all played well but are they good enough for the England squad?

Yeh me too. I also thought Lescott did ok today for his first game back.
Yes I think they will be going to SA. In fact I predict the City players in the England WC squad will be:

Adam Johnson
Wayne Bridge
Shaun Wright-Phillips
Joe Hart
Joleon Lescott
Gareth Barry

Thats' a fair few pal, and almost forgot about Joe and Adam. Joleon for me should be in the squad, but his lack of match play may hold him back.

I really hope Shauney goes to the world cup.
He is one of them players that plays well on the big occasions.
Barry i don't think will start all.
But he will start a few.
Other then Bridge.
Who is the best English left back in England?
But he is a good player.

I don't think Johnson will go to the world cup unless from now on in, he has nothing but stormers.
The others will although, they won't play the full games.

So what you are saying is, we have second rate players. I's agree with you in most part but there are 2 of them who should be in the first squad. Joe and Adam have shown that they should be taken regardless, whereas the rest have been let down by our poor play.
