He is in Argentina for family reasons and won't be back in time for Tuesday's game at Stoke.

Mancio said he will be back in 3 days so it sounds like a death in the family to me (don't quote me on that).

We miss him when he's not on the pitch, but family takes precendence.

As I said, don't quote me! However, why would he fly back to Argentina for his kids birthday party? Next time I'm out on Ops I'll have to use that one!

His wife has had complications in child birth which leaves to me to ask why is she not living in England???

She does live here....she'll have gone home to have the baby born there so it is born in Argentina, she can be with her family etc etc

Pretty common for anyone living overseas to do that (funnily, even if people come from a "less developed" economy/healthcare system...they seem to always trust their own to deliver children more than doctors/nurses in their adopted country).

I have an Indian mate here who doesn't trust local doctors and wants "a good Indian doctor"....whatever would Alf Garnett say ;-)

Wasn't there a statement on mcfc.co.uk saying we wish him the best in these difficult times? Sounds like there were complications during the birth or possibly the baby died?

Yeah as I was typing that I was thinking of lots of exceptions to the "rule" I was trotting out!

Medical care here is really good (well the private stuff is) as they are a nation of fucking hypochondriacs. The dental care also very very good and DIRT cheap compared to the UK

Pharmacies are the funniest, there is pretty much at least one on every single street. I've got 5 within 100 metres of my place and you can buy ANYTHING over the counter. All the mad prescription that the americans are hooked on (anxiety drugs, anti-depressants, opiate based (and synthetic equivalent) painkillers, viagra and all its generic copies....it is barmy

IM SO USED TO GETTING STUFF OVER THE COUNTER AT FARMACIES THAT WHEN I GO TO THE UK IT FUCKING AMAZES ME THAT I CANNOT EVEN GET ANYTHING STRONGER THAN ANADIN WITHOUT A PRESRIPTION.FUCKING RIDICULOUS.
IMAGINE THE TIME SAVED WITH GP,S ECT.

IVE ACTUALLY HAD BETTER HEALTH CARE IN 20 COUNTRIES THAN ID EVER GET IN THE UK (ALL PRIVATE BUT ALL CHEAP).. AND AS YOU SAY DENTAL CARE IS BETTER IN MOST COUNTRIES THAN THE UK....FACT.

BROKEN BRITAIN.

And this explains so much, the obsessive use of caps, the inappropriately portioned rants and somewhat disingenuous rage...I know I'd be messed up too if I was buying drugs meant for livestock.
