Top Four!

Postby Niall Quinns Discopants » Tue Feb 16, 2010 9:44 pm

We have broken in!
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

hahaha a predictable thread after , sadly , a predictable performance. BUT a point at Stoke isn't a bad point! Are we allowed to say that after a draw?
Can we lift the performances against Pool and Chelski?

hard to say about future but at least it's in our own hands now.

I thought this was the aim?

We're 4th!!

Before hand i would hv bitten off your hand for a point, after the red card i saw 3pts for the taking, we then let a goal in and i was feeling ill with deja vu after we lost there last season agst 10 men, we then get an equaliser = masses of relief, then they score in the last minute and it's disallowed.

I thought it meant to get less stressful this season.

On the positive side this away point could prove to be priceless come May

Ok, you people have beat some sense to me. I'm depressed again. Not good enough.

Apologies for my moment of delight during these dark dark times.

I hate doing it, but this ^^

We were appalling, again. Im sick of the negativity. we should of responded to them going down to ten instantly. Instead we had lead boots the super shot stopper fumbling in a pea roller and then almost giving them the winner as well. Embarrassing.

Their first goal was poor to say the least. Defensive mistake and Given ... he ought to have nailed that one. The second disallowed goal... now thats fluke luck. And our goal was fluke luck as well.

Why o why are we trying to play like Stoke vs Stoke. Clearly they are better at it.

On topic: We are 4 now. Need to step up the gas...

I just pray we can get our shit together and quickly as 4th is there for whoever can string a few wins together and with our game in hand and rivals to come Eastlands we have a good chance aslong as we get a few players firing.

Tevez and Bellers need to be back for the dippers as if we win that we have a nice safety net.

but at least there was excitement galore. I remember people saying few days ago that they'd rather take exciting draw than boring win. I would've rather taken latter though but have to settle for hard earned point.
