Gave the big decisions our way tonight, no doubt.
Thanks Al

You have got to be kidding. Alan Wiley of Staffordshire is a fucking crap referee and should never have been put in charge of that game.
Alright, he disallowed a perfectly good goal but he sending off was a sending off was right and he let Stoke kick us all over the pitch all match! He also gave them a free kick everytime they asked for one!

Bollocks, he didnt send faye off. But the fact they had 10 men made it even harder for us.

The two biggest decisions, an iffy red card and ruling out a certain match-winner went our way.
I'd take that every week

The fact that the red didn't change the game was purely down to our ineptitude. I don't think Shay was impeded whatsoever

if city had that chalked off, i would personally find the ref.
is shay coming to the end of his career? fair question or bollocks? i like him, but he has been really treading water lately.
After the ball was centred, after the whistle blew...

For the first 20-30 minutes he gave everything their way, then he changed tactic and started giving everything our way. He was fucking shocking tonight for both teams

wiley gave nothing for the sending off originally, he was waving play-on and only blew the whistle after his assistant ref was flagging like a 747 was about to land on the pitch.

Agree entirely . Wiley was disgraceful for almost everything in the match. Some are even arguing he disallowed a goal for stoke in the dying seconds , although I think he did call that correctly. His refereeing was shambolic to say the least. At least we won't get him next week in the cup.

the best league in the world needs to sort out the refereees. theres a lot of money at stake for the higher you finish even barring the uefa and champion league is it 750k per place difference?
he was unfit tonight(physically). didnt see ade get pushed and nearly missed assistant flag. insisted on micah going off while corner against us-micah had nose bleed which he managed to stop but alan made him stand out of corner. looked scared to give yellow cards to stoke players and one or two city when all four stands got on back, and even though i was in away end their goal looked like it should have stood.
why dont the prem league have age restrictions? employ refs full time? regular fitness tests?
Wiley is unfit and not up to scratch for prem
