The ball's gone right to him in his area at a perfect height for catching. He can see it & just has to catch it. a City player in his way could just put him off.

In most cases no. Lescott, Adebayor, RSC, Richards perhaps, no one else though & they could just as easily head it in their own net or against Given's hands.

the key with given is that when we signed him, we were after a large commanding goalkeeper! whilst his experience worked in our favour last year maybe (admittedly rather simplisticly) the fact that the only really difference between him and joe hart is their age!
