Whos up for Liverpool?

Postby brite blu sky » Wed Feb 17, 2010 8:10 pm

just watched Micah's assement of Stoke on the OS and he mentioned we have beaten U*t, Arsenal and Chelsea at home this season already.

We are playing sh*t i know, but the Scouse are shit as well.
even Mancini is complaining we cant get an attacking mentality together ffs!

This is now a massive game for us.. and as Micah says there is no reason why we cant beat a shit Liverpool team if we have already beat all the other top teams

so who is up for it? ..is this the game this team needs to wake up????

We do seriously need to wake up. if we play like we have in the last few games the scouse will beat us, i dont care how bad theyve been playing.

I'll be up for it & I think the team will. Having Stoke kicking lumps out of us is a good warm up for this & should make sure we're nice & sharp.

Just need the crowd to get behind the team & I recon a memorable victory is on the cards.

Have got a horrible feeling it's going to be ultra defensive with both managers too scared to lose. Hope I'm wrong but it's got 0-0 written all over it.

I actually think this is the game we needed to get the motivation back from players and fans alike. It's wrong for prof players to lack motivation against so called lesser teams but since the Derby loss we have played Pompey, Hull, Bolton and Stoke x2 not exactly games to get the jucies flowing.

I think we will have a sell out and an actual atmosphere and that will help lift the team. I think everything about City has been flat since THAT game and i think Sunday could be the turning point.

We need a full house to make noise and we need to take it to Liverpool. They're have a poor season by their own standards and that needs to be exploited. Revenge for last season would be welcome, too. Heartbreaking.

Please no Vieira, De Jong and Barry in Midfield.

Hi Garry,I just wanted to shake your hand and ask you a question.I go to COMS as mucha as possible but sometimes I cannot leave the house as Sophie.....sorry..Sophie is my Cat...... needs a carer when Im away and sometimes I cannot find one.

I think your first bit is right. But if Torres is still terminally injured it's City that have better attackers for sure.

1-0 or 2-0 City. Lots of moans about the style of course, and pundits saying they're 'not that impressed'. But we'll still be 4th.

We need to get rid of this fear of losing mentality, then we can play with more ease. If we go 1-0 up, keep hitting them, and pile on the presure. Pass the ball alot quicker and our movement as to be better than it is.

I'm well and truly up for this, its our oppotunity to put light between us and them.

We've always had a lack of motivation against the so called lesser teams since we returned to the prem no matter who is in charge or who is in the squad we've been the same - its another one of those "you know what" city things

"With Liverpool's visit shaping up as City’s biggest match of the season so far, Nigel de Jong reckons a passionate City of Manchester Stadium could edge it for the Blues."
