Looks like he may be gone but I've thought he's looked 'not right' in more than just as lazy kind of way recently & this explains it.

A. Johnson (I think there's another Johnson at the Club) and SWP can fill in on the wings. Whether they will or not is a different story.
I'll be sad to see Petrov go - but he's not good enough for our Top 4 ambitions. He'd do a great job at Fulham or West Ham.

Next player to bite the dust, eh.
Bit worried by the fact that we let our best performers go, one by one. You can argue alot about the performance of Elano, Robinho, Petrov et al. The fact is they have been very good performers for us. Why not put more energy on team bonding events, getting the players to play for the team. It is a win-win situation for all in the end.

No they havent.
Elano was awol 90% of the time, Robinho hasnt played well in a year, and Petrov flits in an out. I can't really argue with either manager letting those 3 go

Oh the joy, no Tevez for Sunday, no Bellamy for Sunday, no Petrov for Sunday.
Leaves us with Adebayor, SWP, Adam Johnson, Santa-Cruz (but he'll probably limp off after a few minutes) and thats it for forward options. Not looking good.
Come on City now, you owe us a great performance, score prediction for me: 2-0.
Johnson with a wonder goal from outside the area after a marvelous counter-attack.
And Adebayor with a header from a corner.

More justification for Mancini to play 3 DM's now.

Shit news that he's out, but now Mancini has to play SWP and Johnson on the wings and have them run at Liverpool surly.

One would think so mate, yes.
Actually quite excited now. But I know better than to look forward to a City game too much ;)

it is kind of funny in an ironic way, but it looks like the team is selecting itself..
Bobby will as you say be forced to play things differently.
i dont really think we will miss Petrov for these next few games

Oh No, what a catastrophe.
We'll just have to play with eleven and no passenger against Scouse. Well my heart pumps piss.

Bellers is "in the mix" for Liverpool, according to the O/S at least (for what it's worth...):
http://www.mcfc.co.uk/News/Team-news/20 ... for-SundayAgree with you, though, that we will raise our game and turn in our best performance in weeks.
Edit: just seen Mark's thread on the Bellers report from the O/S:

Call me old fashioned Mark but footballers should play with smiles on their faces

No doubt he would've only been on the bench or the right wing anyway.

it's starting to bother you? i wonder if Mancini wants someone on the other side so that they can also swap and create some confusion in an interchangeable fashion? we don't have that yet, but Jinky can do it. Someone on the other side who could as well would actually be interesting.
Right now it smells like a failure to me.
