The defensive frailties seemed to have been sorted finally with that pairing so now we need to tweak the attacking side of things

Just to underline 2 matters of fact:

We were missing our best striker (for a fully due reason, but still missing). Our players tried at best endevour but we missed some power in front. Sadly even Bellers was unfit for a full match: He would had been well enough to win.

It has been defititely proven that is better for a Club to enjoy:
a "You'll never walk alone" crowd - instead of - a "You'll never walk out of moaning" crowd.

The output would had problably been the same, but still I would have loved heard those growing "C'mon City" and "Booooos at Pool's players" from the begining better than from minute 82.

Display was the most attacking as possible - given circumstances. At least for those who prefer effective football beter than Fort Apache assaults.
Perhaps Gareth Berry has not been the best, but his continuos growth, is getting every match more impacting and effectfull.
Imo, with Tevez back and hoping of enjuries free, we are still ahead in the run for 4th - despite the press and all Blue Moaners' attempts to ruin City.

5. ignore the cunt. he's on permantent wum mission. only TIDs may know City

I know a point is good against them but I just feel so cheated with the ref. Feel it could of been a different game had he got at least half of his decisions right.

Ireland poor again, form is temp and class is permanent, just hope the fans and club have patience for the City legend.

From my position, I thought we played well today, and as a team. Walton was a disgrace and definately is not fit for purpose (unless you are a Scouse fan).

I would have accepted a draw today and that's what we got, however I did have a problem with the tactics once again. Playing Shaun and Johnno on opposite sides for the majority of the time then bringing on young Ibrahim in such a big game did seem very suspect. I think by Bellers on he wanted to put one over the tabloids but IMO they had no impact whatsoever, in fact I'd say they had the opposite.

City legend? for real? He had one sublime season Mark. One.

So far...if i made a list of Jimmy Bullard, Tom Huddlestone and Stephen Ireland i don't think he'd look out of sorts in that group just yet. Massive potential, some great moments, but...nothing legendary at all.

cheers

I love him, think he is a top player in bad form. He has come through the ranks an always had the right attitude, plays football in the right way. He may not be a legend in terms of being a great player...yet, but when you factor in everything else an add it all together, it makes him one in my eyes. To each his own though.

Sorry if this is earlier in the thread, but anyone else notice when the idiot commentator on SKY kept saying:

"Liverpool only need a point here to draw level with City"'? What a moron!
