48 quid a ticket for Chelsea away?

Me m8 just told me about this.
That is scandalous, 48 quid to go to a football game.
When will this end?
Someone at the f.a needs to step in here.
So add 50 quid petrol there and back and say a few beers and a munch 40 quid.
There's 140 quid, 'for one person'.
And it is hardly going to get cheaper in the months/years to come is it?
Not good at all this.

If the tickets were reduced to £38, by your reckoning it would still be £130 'for one person' - Not much difference really.

Yeah its bollocks. With all the millions and millions everyone connected with the club earns, you'd expect ticket prices to be a bit more reasonable.
I'd say £20 a game for every game would be fair, home and away fans, sat wherever. The more money involved, the more I feel like a mug for bothering.

To be fair, Chelsea have been £48 for away fans for about 5 seasons now. Still too much but they ain't put it up

it was 47 pounds today for a ticket in the east stand,
plus the 2 pound booking fee = 49.

I paid that when we lost 6-0 there. I found it mildly amusing. I didnt have to pay for transport as I was living close by at the time.
Never again though.

the exact reason me and my mate didnt go today.
i watched it in the pub today and felt like a fuckin red because i was saying im not paying 45 quid for a brief.

It is being televised mate, the early kick-off.
On topic, I don't really think it's too expensive for a big London club especially seeing that is an 'A' grade game.

Are Fulham really a big London Club? They're the only outfit I know who have a Neutral End aimed at bored Tourists.

Yeah i paid 25 or somthing like that when we played there a few seasons ago (an Mpenza goal springs to mind). Absolute joke isnt it. I heard rumour of a boycott? I go to most away games but i WONT be going to this.

Its how other teams perceive us!
Arsenal away in April again is still classed as a cat B game and will be £32.50 but West Ham in May class it as cat A and will be £45.
If we finish top 4 this season ALL our games on the road next season will be cat A/A+.
We'll have to get used to it!
