Do you think...

On the face of it, this has been a good season for City, compared to the last erm, few. Yes, we still have something to play for. What worries me is the looming move of the goalposts that the established clubs are pushing UEFA on ie salary caps, spending linked to football income etc. basically restraints of trade that threaten to de-rail any high and mighty schemes this club has. Take this scenario away, I'm not too peeved at the current drop in performance, or entertainment value.
I am impatient because I sense the door closing on us if we don't get our foot in there. This season is that chance. Playing shit and winning? yes, a means to an end..playing shit, losing both games and a golden opportunity?...totally dispiriting.

Yes we are,but we put ourselves back 18 months sacking the old boss.

THAT'S why in ideal world they would've appointed their own man from the off and not fanny around with Hughes.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

thought Mancini WAS available. He's been on the dole for 18mths hasn't he?
Never criticise a man until you've walked a mile in his shoes.
That way when you do criticise him you'll be a mile away.
And you'll have his shoes.

He had the legal battle with Inter and would've lost they pay off he was due. So he was just greedy.

yes they should have done it straight away or let hughes have 2-3 seasons.

Stability was mentioned again and again as a factor for keeping hughes and i think it is now been shown that it was a very important factor.
