Players shouldn't be paid when they are banned?

Anyone agree with this?
Seen how now we have lost Vieira and Ade to longish suspensions.
Were a bit thin on the ground now.
Yet i bet they get fully paid when they are banned?
Why should they get paid?
They will not learn this way.
I think that whenever a player coach or otherwise is banned.
They should not be paid for the duration of the ban?
Fair?
I think so.
They might actually learn something then.

I wouldn't fine
Adebayor
Over 400k
For something
That looked to me
Like a challenge
That can happen
Several times in most matches

So a full back will pull out of tackles to avoid the five yellows and a suspension?
Great idea.
Clubs can give their own punishment for violent conduct.
Like with Ben Thatcher.

Some merit in the theory, would depend entirely on the circumstances. Using the two you mention as an exaple, Vieira doesn't deserve a fucking penny until he is available for selection where as a fine for Ade would be extremely harsh.

I've not seen the ade inncident.
From what everyone has said on here it sounds like it didn't warrant a 1 match ban never mind 4.
