I'm hoping Tevez will return the club's (and fan's) understanding and compassion by putting in a storming performance today.

Feeling quite good about this one, not nervous at all. We're on a bad run and we're away at the league leaders, so really we've got nothing to lose (apart from the match, of course). COME ON CITY!

Don't care whether we're dull or not today. Just battle the bastards & lets see if we can get a few quick counters in or get Lescott on the end of a corner etc.

Come on City, we can get something today.

"...fool and his money..." - I have backed CITY to win at 8/1 on Betfair - to win 2-0 at 70s and 2-1 at 29s - mind you I also backed us big time to win at Birmingham - to beat Stoke at home etc - so as I said "...fool..."

So, if we lose I'm starting a 'MCFC1632 Out' thread ;-)

I am gobsmacked to see Bellamy in the starting XI!! After playing 120 minutes the other night I can't believe his knee is going to hold out for another 90 today!

It will hold out for at least 60, then we have a rapid winger to replace him!

Looks like Vinnie's at the back with Zab, Nige and Barry in a 3 man defensive system; 3 attacking players.

Probably right for this game.

I'd hardly say the decision to pick Bellamy over SWP is ridiculous - if Bellamy is fit enough to play, and I'm sure he'd say if he wasn't, I'd actually say it's a no-brainer. Johnson and Bellamy can swap wings to try and get at Malouda, and if, after an hour, Bellamy is feeling it, SWP wil be fresh to come on
