Two weeks to sort out the issues.

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Two weeks to sort out the issues.

Postby crossan » Sat Feb 27, 2010 9:46 pm

After todays great result the club has a fortnight to sort out the differences between the players and Roberto so that we can really push for the 4th spot,I am sure it can be done.

I don't think there are really too many serious problems. Just more time needed working together to know exactly what is required of everyone and by everyone.

Need to work on the finishing. 4 goals away at Chelsea not good enough!

I think the media are blowing all these 'differences between the players and Roberto' way out of proportion. I'm sure there are differences, but in a good way on how to help the team.

I don't believe all this shit about Bellers and Mancini having a shouting match and Bellers getting sent home a disagreement yes a full blown row no.

Im sure the player's and Mancini just want the best for the club and with that dose come difference of opinion.

Exactly. I think Bellers will always have that sort of relationship with his managers - as someone said on Soccer Saturday before the game, "Bellamy could have an argument in an empty house!"

good result today to show mancini he has the players at his disposal to go and attack teams and remain defensively solid, and vice versa for the players, mancini can select the right tactics to get us through a game

lets hope it clicks

With 10/11 games left, for the top teams, it is an ideal opportunity for us to take stock, sort ourselves out tactically and if necessary, rest some tired limbs and heal some knocks, bumps and bruises.

We have advantages over our rivals. We have no other competition to distract us or physically/mentally drain our energy and we have a large squad to see us through.

This 2 week break could be the making of us.

5 straightforwardable winnable games coming up. With good rests in between most of them, apart from Wigan and Burnley around Easter. Mancini needs to sort out our attacking form for these games, we wont be able to rely on the counter attack to score goals against these sides like yesterday.

I hope Dougie's not going on holiday then. There'll be sod all left for us to discuss until we play the two lifeless teams
just embroiled in a 0-0 thriller today in the Stadium of Light !
