England v Egypt

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

England v Egypt

Postby Somerset Blue » Wed Mar 03, 2010 7:21 pm

Well, we seem to have threads for other internationals, but not this one. If BBL tips me the wink I'll make it the Official England V Egypt thread...

Starting XI:

Green, Brown, Upson, Terry, Baines, Walcott, Lampard, Barry, Gerrard, Rooney, Defoe

Live on ITV1, KO 2000.

Lots of City Fans on here don't like to watch England because they might have to cheer a RAG.

Only Barry out of the City Squad is starting. I'm sure we had 4 players in there recently! If Leighton Baines is going to be our Left Back for the World Cup then he needs to be as well integrated in to the side as possible.

Fabio Capello is certainly up there with Bobby Robson as the best England Manager in my lifetime. Even the difference against Croatia in a matter of months was incredible.

I shall be watching.

Hi Garry,I just wanted to shake your hand and ask you a question.I go to COMS as mucha as possible but sometimes I cannot leave the house as Sophie.....sorry..Sophie is my Cat...... needs a carer when Im away and sometimes I cannot find one.
My question is ; Is it possible to bring Sophie to matches at COMS in her kitten box and can she come in for free?

A Love Rat Son of a Drug Dealer and Shoplifter, a Guy recently on trial for Assault, a Granny Shagger and a Captain with a dodgy track record of missed Pee Tests and Suspensions... Surely the Men to lift the World Cup in 2010? Stranger things have happened.

I know they've not qualified for South Africa - but I'd forgotten that Egypt were the team to beat from the Continent of Africa. Should be a good Match.

England 3-0. Easy.

But some Rag will always come up with a way to fuck it up for us!

Tranaldo the Winker? I think we're due luck at some point in the near future. There's only so many disallowed Goals and Penalty Shoot Outs that can go against you.

They were advertising Tickets all over the London Newspapers this week. Starting at £30. Wembley's certainly looking impressive now.

Why is Walcott in the team? He has either been injured or gash this season.

Did Terry get booed?

Ps. ITV.com coverage for this game isn't as good as it was for our fa cup game

Terry got booed :-)
I'm taking some satisfaction seeing him playing so poorly at the moment. He's clearly rattled early on.

Is Maradona still manager of Argies?
Tevz and Aguero on the bench tonight and he has Jonas Gutierrez in the starting 11.

I thought Hart was going to get the nod tonight? I hope England get smoked to prove what an overrated twat Green is.

What's with the red shirts? Is that now our official home colour ('66 and all that), or are we just showing off a new kit?

In the fattest footballer thread, someone mentioned Robinson. He is looking a bit chunkier. Also his eyebrows look as if they've been plucked. He looks like a right tart.
