Robinho

Roberto Mancini has been accused of managing with "a lack of ability" in the latest demonstration from Robinho that he does not want to go back to Manchester City when his loan arrangement with Santos ends.
Although Mancini maintains that he would like Robinho to return to the club in August, the Brazilian has confirmed he has no intention of moving back to Manchester to play for a manager he blames, in part, for his poor form this season. Robinho has already shipped all his belongings to Brazil and instructed his representatives to find him a new club, and after scoring four goals in six games for Santos he has publicly criticised Mancini for the first time since leaving City.
He said: "At City, when I was playing, I knew that at some point the substitution board would go up and I was going to come off because the manager didn't have trust in me. Then, you start to lose your confidence on the pitch."
Mancini had said he wanted Robinho to "write the history of the club" when he replaced Mark Hughes as manager in December but he quickly concluded that the most expensive player in English football, signed from Real Madrid for £32.5m, should be allowed to leave.
The Italian also publicly humiliated Robinho by bringing him on as a substitute after Roque Santa Cruz was injured nine minutes into the 2-0 defeat at Everton in January but then withdrawing him 16 minutes into the second half.
"I spoke to the manager after the game," Robinho said. "He admitted to me that he had made a mistake taking me off. It was the first time I have had to go through something like that in my career but I suppose there's always a first time. It wasn't a lack of respect, though. I just think it was a lack of ability on the part of the manager."
Robinho's form with Santos looks to have earned him a place in Brazil's World Cup squad. He scored in Tuesday's 2-0 win over the Republic of Ireland.

I respect the current manager's view.
I dont believe that the current manager was wrong to do what he did at Everton
I believe he maybe should have had a bit more patience, but I was not sad to see Robbie go
But hey ho
I also believe that Robbie is on loan for 6 months for a reason
I dont believe Robbie will fare any better under any other prospective manager, so hope he is player of the world cup so we get a bit of cash

My thoughts exactly, screw him.

While you can legitimately accuse Mancini of many things as City manager be it tactics, style of football or whatever I don't think Robbie can blame him for his poor form as Mancini only managed him for 5 bloody minutes.
Admittedly Robbie can bitch that Mancini showed him the door marked 'exit' pretty sharpish but as Robbie had been looking for the fucking 'exit' all bloody season you would think a thank you card would have been in order rather than whinging like a pussy.

In all my years supporting City I can honestly say I've never detested one of our players (even when others are dishing out an Edgehill style hate campaign).
Robinho is testing me though.
I hope the fucker stinks up the world cup bigtime.

I think we should retain his contract for the remainder of it and loan him out to Shakthar Donetsk, CSKA or somewhere really fuclin cold for disrespecting the club like he has done on numerous occasions.
I previously had Robinho as my favourite player on my profile, but since his childish comments and insults since he left us, I really think we should make it hard for him.
How DARE a player, we paid so much for, and prevented from staying another year at Real, a club he hated so much, turn around and say our manager is unable, or suggest he is inept. His comments have the potential to dissuade any future 'Galactico' signing we may come close to making.
He may play well for Brasil under Dunga, in a star studded team where he has NO defensive responsibilty. But if he doesn't perform well enough for us, and he doesn't start for us, this does not give him the right to criticise our management, fans, club, tea lady, ANYTHING. Our ticket money (And, granted, the Sheikh's generosity), pay his salary. He should be loyal to that, and, as he does when he is playing well and scoring:
Keep your fucking dummy in your mouth, and shut the fuck up!

I am with you here - he is just trying to get us to wash our hands of £32m and let him stay at Santos or go to Barca on the cheap - well fuck it - if we are to be disrespected we should bite back - Russian front for me (unless this is mis-quotes etc - but there are too many)

I consider the language aspect of this kind of article quite a bit, with more than a sceptical view upon them, and I understand how easy it would be for a journalist to 'interpret' the language the way they want.
But its happened too many times for it to be a dodgy interpretation, and surely if Robinho thought his words were printed out of context, then he'd come out and say so.
My money is on these quotes being a retort on the Shay Given quote after the Ireland v Brazil game:
http://www.dailystar.co.uk/posts/view/124839/Shay-Given-Robinho-will-be-backIt is petty, unnecessary and will only serve to hinder him for the rest of his career. So much for him wanting to win the Ballon D'or. The lad needs to sort his head out sharpish, whether it be at City or some other club, if he wants to be remembered.
EDIT: I know the link to the article is from the Daily Star, but I read these quotes in a few articles, this one was the first I found looking back on Newsnow.

Where has he criticised the tea lady, fans etc... Cant see it.
He has critisized Mancini for humiliating him for his actions at Everton. I thought it was wrong aswell.
And if he doesn't want to play for a manager who thinks so lowly of him again is that not understanable.
It seems that most people on here think that if you get shown up like Robbie was he should be grateful and thank the manager for showing him the error of his ways instead of maybe feel insulted like Robson was.
I hope he never comes back as it seems most of the fans will never accept him

The player I like must be completely committed to Manchester City.
That's a pretty important rule for me and as soon as I see he isn't, I simply don't like them anymore.

I'm with OD on this. I defended Robinho for a long time but he chose to stick two fingers up to us fans. It's not about fookin Mancini, he was just as poor under Hughes. I can (barely) tolerate players with little or no ability but what I can NOT tolerate is player who just don't give a fook, which was the case with Robinho. This is Manchester City and no player is bigger than the club. If he doesn't turn up, which was the case in Everton, then he'll be treated just like anyone else.
Furthermore, he is under contract with us and shouldn't be fucking mouthing off.

Don't understand why he feels the need to refer to those events when he's supposedly happy in Brazil & concentrating on the world cup. Also don't understand why he seems to think that his performance at Everton was ok. Sure, others were shit too but he was a fair candidate for substitution. Perhaps that is the root of his problems; he's brilliant in his own mind whatever he does?

Previously youv'e said all players are mercinaries and and are only interested in their bank balances and you accept that and think thats the way it is.
And now cos you want to make a point its down to loyalty, whereas before you knew loyalty had fuckall to do with it.
I dont feel he has stuck two fingers up at me.Maybe I've missed something.
He has said he thinks the chosen one is inept.Theres a few others on here who have said that.
But you love the chosen one so its no suprise that you'd stick up for him when he makes a stupid decision.
