I've just been having a look at the shop to send something to a mate's kid and I saw that there are a load of tee shirts I haven't seen before.

I have a couple of city tees which I quite like but some of these are pretty rad....

I am not impressed at all, I honestly think they just by job lots of plain t-shirts and print any old bullshit relating to whatevers topical and charge us 10 times what they're really worth.

I used to go in the shop nearly every months when it was Reebokcity and rarely spent less than 50-100 quid, now I have no interest in most of the crap in there.

They used to do a nice set of car mats that ive been in three times for and they dont seem to be getting them back?

The first paragraph was a bit perplexing....I think that a plain tshit with "stuff printed (or stitched/embroidered) on it" and then its cost multiplied is the standard approach for any company selling tshirts....be it Maharishi, City or Nike....none of them are "worth" what you pay. That's not really the point when it comes to club-related tshirts though is it

The final line is just brilliantly bonkers tho....who the FUCK wants City car mats?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

I thought this one was pretty good.

Rest of them were crap. Especially Tevez one. He's not Blue nor red judging by how he keeps naging on about wanting to go back to Argentina sooner rather than later.

I went to the store last week. They've got an offer on the t-shirts, including the ones above, small sizes 2 for £15 and larger sizes 2 for £20. Broke a longstanding rule of not buying anything that has a players name on and bought the Bellers I give my all and Tevez once a red always a blue t-shirts. Both are legends already. Also got one of those nice zip up hoodies for £30 and of course THE scarf.
Miffed about the home shirt though. If any, change the away.

All the Umbro gear is pretty much sold out as well... which with 3 months of the season to go is pretty hopeless

My first line referred to the lack of quality and terrible designs in propotion to price.

And the car mats were actually quite nice, they were mainly navy blue with city blu piping and had a small City symbol on the front mats. They would look good in my 4x4 as it is a similar blue.

I played golf with somebody last season who had a City golf bag I was quite envious of. He told me it was official club tackle. Never seen one before or since.

They had quite a lot but didnt have it in for very long, it was in the shop about 2 years ago, I bought quite a bit, it was all fairly nice gear but it didnt actually say City on it.

But are they crap quality though?? Lookin at the pics, they look simular to the fit and material used for the actual playin shirts (could someone comfirm what the fit is like).. And you cant really moan at £15 for a t shirt that also shows support to City! Yeah, they make profit on them, what do you expect??!

The banana one and 'spray paint' ones are cool..

Yes they are crap quality, ive had quite a few printed T's from city over the past 18 months and the colours of the shirts soon become washed out and start looking crap and the plastic printing cracks.

I hate to say it but my father in laws utd t-shirts and polo's look really smart, if we had the quality we used to have when reebok had the rights i'd buy practically everything I wear from city like I used to.
